The Driving Doctor (TDD): links all of the clever stuff that the telematics providers like TomTom do with the end users (the Fleet and HR Managers and the drivers). The main aim of TDD is to improve driving technique to increase road safety and save lives.
The Dashboard is intended to be an interesting and informative tool that aids interaction and understanding. It presents an overview of the fleet and individual driving behaviour based upon the events that occur in order to help the fleet understand how their drivers are performing.
TDD specifically reviews aspects of the driver technique and if this technique is lacking or is producing dangerous outcomes then appropriate Driving Doctor information is selected to advise, train and develop the drivers individually based upon their performance.
TDD also provides a full reporting function so that the company can review their drivers in real time and over time.
The important thing is that the scoring, review and training is repeatable and consistent – there is no favouritism and no short-cuts – all drivers are evaluated in the same way.
Please note that Help will be provided 'contextually' throughout.
Help will be provided that is related specifically to the page or section that the user is on at the time.
Developed for The Driving Doctor by UKChanges, the Dashboard is split into two main work areas, both accessed from the main Log-in page according to permissions set:
The Main Dashboard
This enables Fleet Managers / Companies to log-in and review overall performance to see the best and worst in all categories.
Fleets can see which drivers are in campaigns, the highest 'at risk', plus the current status of the fleet overall in terms of performance, driver score and actual engagement.
The Admin Area
This enables fleet and driver details edit plus campaign content review and set-up (depending upon the Admin security level that is set).
Quote of the Day
This changes daily and it is dynamic – so watch out for relevant seasonal messages!
